About Us

JEM Marketing was established in 1984 offering mail order support services for products featured editorially within the National and Periodical Press. From the outset, the decision was made to develop bespoke computer systems to handle end-to-end response fulfilment: every order was to be processed in house, from receipt to despatch. This concept of process continuity and integrated technology has proven to be a robust business model and this philosophy has been maintained to the present day.

Within a year JEM had established itself as a reliable supplier of products and fulfilment services to the Reader Offer market place. In 1989 JEM moved to Cranleigh where we currently occupy four industrial units including a newly built warehouse. Shortly after the move – given its proven services and advanced infrastructure – JEM was invited to provide end-to-end Fulfilment services for suppliers to the National Press. With continued expansion, the company divided into two divisions:Reader Offers and Fulfilment services.

The business continued to expand, offering fulfilment services to overseas clients. JEM’s business systems were subject to continued development and further investment was made in a state of the art eCommerce platform, offering advanced facilities to all JEM clients.

In the summer of 2007 JEM won a major contract with The National Magazine Company (now Hearst) to be sole products supplier for their entire magazine portfolio: fulfilment would use their Internet trading platform and the JEM e-commerce solution. Many JEM clients have now adopted the JEM solution to add an online sales channel to their Off-the-Page activities.

Synergies between our Reader Offer and Fulfilment services mean that we are able to help our Fulfilment clients get their products to market via the Reader Offer channel to help grow their revenue.

Over the years JEM has established a massive supplier base – of international standing – and an excellent reputation for service and technology. Our proven e-commerce platform and online storefront has enabled our suppliers – many keen to sell direct to consumers on top of their trade sales – to outsource this sales fulfilment to JEM and leverage its expertise.
